Davide and Lisa met at work. The two were friends for about a year before Davide asked Lisa to dinner one night.
Lisa was born in Montreal and so the city is a very special place for her. During the Labour Day weekend in 2013 Davide and Lisa went on a road trip that would change their lives forever. The two went for a walk up Mount Royal and once at the top found a bench to sit on and take in the scenery. They were up there for a couple of minutes when Davide got down on one knee and asked Lisa to be his wife. The rest was history!
Lisa’s favourite moment was dancing their first dance to ‘Stand By Me’ by Ben E. King. The couple had just been announced into the hall and they were finally able to relax and enjoy the evening. “Even though there were more than 285 people around us, it felt like it was just the two of us,” says the Lisa. “In the moment, I felt like we were floating and could feel all the positive energy and love in the room.”
The couple’s favourite wedding detail would have to be their DJ. “He did an amazing job of keeping everyone dancing the entire night,” says the bride. “He was so entertaining and interactive the entire night, we’ve received so many compliments!”
